Now, compare this to just 51 hours spent on the actual gameplay during the season. That's right, 20 hours of preparation for every single hour of game time!

Now, you might wonder why they put in so much work. The answer is clear when you consider the rewards. The average NFL player earns a hefty $2.4 million a year, and for quarterbacks, this figure skyrockets to $7 million. Their preparation pays off, quite literally.
